Engine Builds

Engine Build Overview

A basic engine overhaul includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, blueprinting, replacement of all critical components, machining of all critical sealing surfaces, and assembly.

Turn One Racing does all engine building in house with the exception of certain specific services and machine work.

When refreshing an engine there are tiers of options.

Basic Pro-Level Refresh

Basic cleaning, de-carbon piston tops/combustion chamber, cylinder honing, replace rings/bearings, set valve lash, check degreeing, new head gasket, and new case gasket set.

This option is performance focused maintenance, generally done to previously built engines to keep the engine running at it’s peak power output for the serious racer who is interested in being competitive.
